Subject: Visa and travel restrictions in response to COVID-19

          Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has decided that all existing visas granted to foreigners except to those belonging to diplomatic, official, UN/international organizations, employment and project categories shall remain suspended till 03.05.2020. 

2.       All incoming passenger traffic into India through any of the 107 Immigration Check Posts shall remain suspended till 03.05.2020.

3.       Government of India has also decided that the right of multiple entry lifelong visa facility for visiting India for any purpose granted to persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) shall continue to be kept in abeyance till 03.05.2020.  Any foreign national holding an OCI card who intends to travels to India for compelling reasons during this period may contact the nearest Indian Mission.
